What a busy weekend!

It was a very busy, very good weekend. Saturday I went with two friends, Mary and Sue, to visit the state parks in our area. We went to Fountainbleau, then to Fairview-Riverside, then to Tickfaw. We liked Fairview-Riverside best, so we decided that's where we will go for our girls' camping weekend in October. After we went campground visiting, we got together with our girls' group at Olive Garden. Everyone had a great time. We always do. It's too bad we only get together three or four times a year.

Today Tropical Storm Fay came through our area. It has rained ALL DAY. And not just a little rain, it's been a gully-washer!! All the ditches are filled and some of the roads have standing water on them. But don't worry--Mamaw was cooking today, so I went regardless of the weather. If Mamaw cooks Sunday dinner, we go! It was spaghetti, which is one of her specialties and everyone's favorite. Today it was in honor of Mindy, since her birthday was last week.

Andy spent the weekend at the hunting camp. It isn't hunting season yet, but apparently there are things for men to do at a hunting camp that must be done prior to the season. I don't think women are supposed to know just what things go on there. But it doesn't really matter because he had a great weekend too.
