Happy Birthday Mindy

Our niece, Mindy, is living in Baton Rouge while she goes to school. Since Buddy works out of town most of the time, Mindy has been coming to eat dinner and hang out with us in the evenings. We're really enjoying visiting with her.

Mindy's birthday way Saturday, so today we had a "party" for her. It wasn't really a party, but we did have a cake. I searched the house over and couldn't find the birthday candles. But don't worry--I took my mother's lead and used what I could find. It wasn't actually a birthday candle, but she did blow it out as she made a wish.

I took several pictures of her with the cake. However, due to my lack of technical ability, there are no birthday cake pictures to share. I do have this picture of the birthday girl without a cake.
