I've been a lousy blogger. The best excuse I have is that (I'm lazy?) I got a new camera a while back and my computer doesn't have the right drivers for it. So I have to download my pictures to Andy's computer, then transfer them to mine. So that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it!! But I'll try to do better.
We had Emily for a few days last week. We always have such a good time with her and this time was no different. We played outside almost all day every day. She loves it! I took her to Jambalaya Park. It is the nicest place for kids to play and she had a good time.
It was a very hot morning and lots of people were at the sprayground so I took her over to that section of the park. She was very apprehensive.
Some of the sprays have water flowing all the time, but some of them are motion activated. She checked them out.
She didn't like that part a bit!! She didn't really get wet, but had a good time anyway.
Last weekend we went to see the Beach Boys! What a great concert! We had the best time!
On the way we passed one of my favorite landmarks--Dairy Queen. We don't have Dairy Queen in Baton Rouge any more and I rarely see one that I don't stop. So when we saw this one in New Roads I pulled in for a dipped cone. So good!!!!!!!
We went to Amy's house for a barbecue on Labor Day. As always, we had a good time relaxing with the family. The food was great and so was the company.
