It was an uneventful weekend here. Saturday when Andy got off work, he and his diving buddy went to Cane Bay to go diving. I stayed home to watch the College World Series. When they got to the dive shop it was very busy, so rather than waiting around, they made an appointment for a dive on Sunday. They came back to the condo and we had a nice supper at Smuggler's Cove. Smuggler's Cove is a bar/restaurant in the condos just down the road from ours. Most of the people working with Andy are staying there. Smuggler's has the best hamburgers I've ever eaten. I'll miss them when we get home!
Yesterday we went to church, then to Cane Bay. Even though Andy and Andreas had an appointment, they still had to wait over an hour for a dive instructor to take them out. It didn't really matter to me--I was just sitting on the beach "people watching" anyway. They had a great dive and saw things they hadn't seen on their other dives. They saw a sea turtle, lobster, and some kind of multi-colored ray. They had a good time. I'm really sorry that there is no place for Andy to dive in Louisiana because he really has enjoyed it. We had Chinese for dinner, then back home only to find out that we couldn't get the last pre-championship CWS game on TV. For some reason ESPN here didn't carry it.
It was a nice, quiet weekend.
