Great weekend with Great friends

It seems like life has taken most of the friend time away. And as much as I'd like to spend quality time with my friends, it seems like life happens and friend time gets pushed aside. But this weekend was so special because I spent quality time with the best friends in the world.

Patti came to my house early Saturday. We ran errands, ate a nice relaxing lunch, and headed to Harahan for the annual Crackie Christmas party. It was so much fun. Our group gets together three or four times a year, and every time is better than the last. Patti (f) Kimack always hosts our Christmas party, and she outdid herself this year. The house was beautiful, the food was wonderful, the fire on the patio was fabulous, and the fellowship with friends was best of all.

Today I was lucky enough to spend the day with Debbie and her sister, Diane. We went to Covington to an arts and crafts show. It was FREEZING, but we had a great time anyway. We bought a few goodies and spent some real time together. When we got back to their car, we promised that we wouldn't let so much time go by before we saw each other again.

It was just the best weekend. I wish I had more like this one. Great times with great friends.
