This party was a home run!

We all had the best time honoring Dad yesterday at his birthday party. Buddy and Karyn always throw a good party, but this one was the best I've ever been a part of. There were so many people from our lives there, each one special and important to us. I'm so glad they could all come share this special day with us. Daddy had the best day. He was so happy to see long-time friends, newer friends, and family members that we don't see often enough.

Buddy did a great job on the couchon de lait. It was my first time to experience one, and he seemed to have it down to a science. The meat was absolutely delicious, as was all of the other food that was there.









The highlight of the day was when my sisters, brother, ASS (Adopted Special Sister), and mother came out in our "I'm Dad's Favorite" shirts. Daddy laughed until he cried!! It was great.





She's really his favorite!
