For several days it has looked like rain in the afternoons. Every day I've said I wish it would rain here to water my yard. Every day it has passed us over. Today it it raining. And not just a little. We have thunder, lightning, strong winds, and hard, hard rain. You think I'd be happy, since I've been asking for this. But God has a real sense of humor. He's definitely giving me what I've asked for....but on the wrong day. Today is my dad's birthday and tomorrow we are having a BIG birthday party for him. It's an outside party and today was the day to get things ready for it. Right now it isn't looking like that will happen. I guess this is God's little reminder that HE is in control no matter what.
