Emily's birthday party was this morning. She had it at the sprayground at Jambalaya Park. The park is so nice. It has a great playground, and across the parking lot is the sprayground. The kids just love it.
Here is our birthday girl walking with Grandy from the playground to where we had the party. She was so ready. Katie said she woke up early this morning and the first thing she wanted to do was go to her party.

I know tears aren't supposed to be part of birthday parties, but this one had some anyway.
She got a sandbox for her birthday. I brought the sand to her house in the back of the truck. I don't think she really needed a sandbox, just the back of the truck would have been fine with her. Here are Emily, Grace, and Seth filling the sandbox.

I think she had a great birthday party. I'm not sure how much fun the other adults had, but I had a great time watching her enjoying herself and her friends.
