This weekend has been so much fun. Denise is in town and we always have a great time together. Friday was "Cathy and Denise" day.
We started out running errands with Mamaw and Papaw. We ate lunch at Sammy's. It was so good. We all had the same thing--fried catfish covered with crabmeat au gratin with a stuffed potato on the side. It was so good.
We took Papaw home and later in the day met up with Karyn and Amy. It was dinner time and even though none of us was hungry, you can't skip dinner, so we went to Coyote Blue's. We each got something different and ended up sharing. It was delicious and so much fun.
Here's our menu:
Fried oysters on the half chip
Guacamole
Spinach and portabello quesidillas (it looks like Karyn wasn't sure about them, but she enjoyed them)
Jalapeno and cheese nachos
After dinner we went to see Chonda Pierce. She is the funniest comedienne I have ever seen. We all laughed until our sides hurt, then laughed some more.
Her opening act was Bone Hampton. He was so funny.
Then Chonda came out.
Oh, and don't ask about this picture. You had to be there to appreciate it!
It was one of the best times I've had in a long time.
