Regis & Kelly

Today Debbie and I went to the taping of Regis & Kelly. It was so much fun. There were two seatings. The 9:00 seating was today's show. They 10:30 seating was a taping of Wednesday's show. We were pretty far back in the crowd for the actual taping. There were two guests...Billy Ray Cyrus and Harry Hamlin. Harry Hamlin is one of the stars of a new mini-series that begins this week called Harper's Island. It is a murder mystery series that lasts 13 weeks with one character getting murdered each week. Viewers won't know who the murderer is until the last episode. After the interviews, Billy Ray Cyrus sang his new song. Lots of people left early, but we stayed until the end.

As we were leaving, they announced that Miley Cyrus would be coming out to do her song for the following day's taping. So we turned around and went back. We were about eight rows back. Miley Cyrus sang her song four or five times until they got it the way they wanted it. Then Regis and Kelly did an interview with her.

While she was singing, Regis and Kelly went onto a balcony and threw beads and hats. I caught a hat and a strand of beads. My Mardi Gras experience definitely helped me, but I had my hands on the hat before that little girl anyway!!
