What the heck is echolocation?

Grace had early dismissal from school today so she spent the afternoon with us. She is hysterical. We went to the library and she got several books about bats. I don't know where her enthusiasm with bats came from, but she is very interested in them. She told us about how they use echolocation to know if something is in the way since they can't see well.

When we got home from getting Grandy from work, she wanted to play school. She was the teacher and Grandy was the student. I was the principal/cafeteria worker (since I was fixing dinner). She brought Grandy to me because he was being such a bad student in her classroom. She really wanted me to suspend him so he would behave. When we sat down to dinner, she said the prayer. This is how she started, "Dear Lord, please help him get suspended so he can behave in school." Before she said amen she remembered to bless the food.

As usual she kept us in stitches the whole time she was here.
