Lovesick Blues

Last night we went with Mamaw and Papaw to Eunice to see a show about the life of Hank Williams, Sr. The guy who portrayed Hank was so good that if you didn't know it, you would have thought that Hank himself was performing. He sounded like, moved like, and even looked like the great one himself! The artist, Hugh Harris, is the son of a lady I taught with. She told me the show was great, and I expected great things. But I had a feeling that since she is his mother, maybe she was exaggerating a bit. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that everything she said was true. It was a wonderful performance. In fact, we're planning to go back next year!
