A busy, sad weekend

It was with great sadness that Andy and I went to Fayetteville, Arkansas this weekend. His aunt, Jane Parette, passed away on Thursday. Andy had received an email from her son, Ned, at the end of last week telling us that she had surgery for a spot on her kidney. When they did surgery, the doctors saw that it was quite widespread and just closed the incision. Now, just a week later, she has gone to heaven.

Andy and I made a very quick trip to Fayetteville to spend a little time with her sons.

It was a sad weekend.
