A great Sunday

We had a great day yesterday. We went to Buddy's house for a crowfish boil in honor of Christopher's 18th birthday. Everyone had a great time.


It was Emily's first time to taste crawfish and I think (having that strong streak of Cajun blood) she really enjoyed them.



And as always, Grace was ready for a party, hat and all. She really entertained us, as she always does.

When the party was over, we went to the Bonnet Carre Spillway to see where they had opened the flood gates. It was very interesting and a very, very impressive sight.

It was just one of those days that was perfect all the way around.
