What a great day!

Grace was here today. We had so much fun getting ready for Easter. First she made Easter surprises for everyone who will be attending our Easter dinner. She was great with the paintbrush!

After she made her surprises, we went to an Easter egg hunt at church. She had lots of fun. She found the most eggs for her age group, so she won a prize! It was a nice bag of goodies--a kite, paddle ball, harmonica, and several other goodies!

Then, best of all, was the sack race. Some of you know the history behind Grace and the sack race. When she is in the sack race, she gives it all she's got. And in the past if she hasn't won, she has been a "complete failure". Well, no need to worry because today she was a success! She ran the sack race several times, and even though she didn't win every time, she did win once. She was very proud of herself and was even a good sport when she wasn't the winner. Then, when we came back home, we dyed eggs.

It was a great day and we both had lots of fun!
