2007---It was a very good year!

Goodbye, 2007!

So many things happened in 2007 that it went by quickly. It's hard to believe that another year is coming to an end. Here are some of the great things that happened in my life this year.

• Our precious Emily was born on May 9. What a blessing she has been to us! Even though her birth wasn't the first thing that happened this year, it was the most important, so I'm listing her first.
• We started remodeling our house. We've made many, many improvements, but still have some minor things to do. It turned from a house into a home and I just love it.
• We have been healthy for the most part. Of course, we've had minor setbacks, but all-in-all, we are blessed with good health.
• Andy changed jobs and is working at Lowe's. He really likes it and it is close to home, which is a huge asset.
  
• I decided early in the school year that this would be my last year to teach. I'm happy to say that I'll be retiring next week. I'm very excited about it and look forward to a leisurely lifestyle.
• Our little Grace started kindergarten. It's hard to believe that she is old enough for school. She is just the cutest thing in her school uniform. And of course, she's the smartest child in the school.

While 2007 was a great year for us, I'm looking forward to what 2008 brings. Best of luck, health, and happiness to everyone we know. We love you all.
