A Camping We Will Go

I had a fun weekend camping with the girls. We went to Natchez State Park. The park was just beautiful with the rolling hills! We had a cabin and a tent site. Five of us stayed in the tent, and the other four stayed in the cabin. It was great fun! We had a wonderful campfire thanks to Patti who collected firewood all day Saturday.

The most amazing thing about the weekend was the deer. They were all over the roads! Every time we left the campsite, we would see several of them. Last night when I walked out of the bathhouse, a deer was just a few feet away from me. He ran when I shined my flashlight on him, but it was really neat to see him that close.

It was a great weekend with perfect weather. I can't wait to go again.
